I studied Psychology and Education as a dual major at Ozark Technical Community Collage until, through no small influence by my marine brother, I decided I was going to go into the military and serve my country. I passed the ASVAB with outstanding marks and my Air Force recruiter informed me I could have any MOS (Military Occupation) I desired. There was an opening for a Cyber Security position in Louisiana so I signed up and was going to head there for boot and training. A week out from my ticket to Louisiana I was in a car accident, it was described to me later that my brain practically did a summersault in my  head. I spent 6 weeks in the ICU and, collectively, 9 months in rehab. I had to learn how to eat, walk, even breathe again. I had effectively forgotten everything, who I was, how to dress myself, all the lessons I had learned throughout my life.

My memory slowly started coming back but not until I had hit the bottom of the barrel. I then realized I could help people just by understanding what it’s like to  lose it all having to rebuild your world from scratch. I met my wife who lived in Anderson Missouri and, like a good McDonald Boy, I started my career at  the Jane Walmart. Unloading the truck and stocking shelves 2 to 11 every day except Sunday's. I met a lot of people; was contacted by Doug (Walmart's CEO) on more than one occasion because I had impressed him by being friendly to everyone I talked with. Eventually that led me into wireless phones and dealing with fun companies like AT&T, Verizon, and Straight talk. I remember there was one time I was arguing with them for two hours straight because they kept trying to give the customer a run-around on her network access. I enjoyed working at Walmart, seeing everyone’s faces, helping everyone I met in whatever small way I could but eventually it was time to move on.

Meeting with a church friend of mine I started working in Neosho at an online start-up business called LS Grips, we manufactured handmade handgun grips with his homemade pearlescent material that was just beautiful, it had already been up for 5 years when I stepped in. I've always been technical savoy so I eventually handled a lot of the office work, engraving the grips, making listings, ensuring everything that needs to go out in the mail gets out there that day, and keeping production numbers from the other employees accurate. I loved working with my hands and it was good getting away from the hustle and bustle of Walmart. I missed the people though, I missed helping people solve problems or helping them prevent future ones. I missed seeing new faces and meeting new and interesting people every day. Looking around, my bishop told me they may need some more people at the Pineville State Farm so I talked with Sean and Kristin. I loved the atmosphere, I loved the direction, I loved the motivation, and I loved how every day I would help people protect what they care about and help them manage what is most important to them.

Studying for the licensing exam was grueling, balancing LS Grips while I was preparing to jump into a completely different field, leaving no stone unturned. I worked hard and passed the tests on my first attempt, Sean and Kristin were helping me the entire time and looking forward to what I can bring to their office. When I started here I saw the office growing, I saw the love Sean, Kristin, Caleb, and Matt brought with them. I knew everyone here cares about everyone walking through the door and calling on the phone. We help you because we have the tools available to make your life what you want it to be and to make sure nothing can get in your way. I have a chessboard in my office so let's sit down, play a game, and talk sometime. I really look forward to earning your business.
