About me

Hi, I’m Sean Crider, and I’m a State Farm agent proudly serving Pineville, MO and the surrounding communities across Missouri, Arkansas, and even Oklahoma. I’m originally from Southwest Missouri, and I graduated from Truman State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business.

After college, my path took me into education. I taught English as a Second Language in South Korea with my wife, Kristin, and later taught business here in the U.S. I enjoyed helping people learn, but I wanted to make an even bigger impact by helping them protect what matters most. That’s what brought me to State Farm, and in 2007 I opened my agency in Pineville with zero customers. Since then, we’ve built our business the old-fashioned way: by earning customers through great service, real guidance, and solid protection.

I’m also active in our community, including serving in Rotary leadership roles. I love being part of what makes our area such a great place to live—and I’m honored to help local families and businesses feel confident with their coverage.

If you ever have questions about auto, home, renters, life, or the right way to compare quotes, I’m here to walk you through it and make the process easier.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Q: How can I compare auto insurance quotes?

A: Getting car insurance quotes is simple—you can start online, over the phone, or by working with a local agent. Quotes are typically based on factors like your vehicle, driving history, and coverage preferences, helping you explore options that fit your needs. In Pineville, you can count on Sean for personalized service.

Q: How quickly can car insurance coverage start?

A: Car insurance coverage can often start the same day, depending on your situation. For personalized coverage in Pineville, MO, reach out to Sean.

Q: What kind of insurance do I need for a leased vehicle?

A: If you're leasing a vehicle, the requirements are usually a bit higher than standard coverage. In most cases, you'll need liability, comprehensive, and collision coverage, and the leasing company may need to be listed on your policy. We're always happy to walk you through exactly what's needed. Sean is here to help your Pineville household feel covered.

Q: How would you explain renters insurance?

A: Renters insurance is a simple way to help protect your personal belongings and provide liability coverage while you're renting. Since your landlord's policy typically covers the building itself, this type of coverage is designed to help protect you and the things you own. Looking for coverage? Talk with Sean about your options in Pineville.

Q: Is homeowners insurance required?

A: Whether homeowners insurance is required depends on your situation and may vary by state. If you have home financing, your lender will likely require it. Even if it's not required, many people choose to have coverage to help protect their home and everything that comes with it. Sean is proud to serve the Pineville community.

Q: What happens when you have life insurance in place?

A: Life insurance provides a payout to your beneficiaries if you pass away while the policy is active, helping offer financial protection. Serving Pineville and the surrounding area, Sean can help answer your questions.

Why choose us?

My journey into financial services and opening my agency in Pineville in 2007, starting with no customers, was deeply motivated by a desire to make a significant impact. My team and I have worked diligently since then, focused on providing dedicated support to our local communities.
